The Control Hinge

So I wanted to try to put the Trackpad on the same level as the top of the tented Charachorder handpieces. This would require something that would stand up like a bridge with Trackpad on top. I still wanted it to be portable to fit in a keyboard case or similar small packing case. I found these control hinges that had adjustable tension to make it strong enough to hold the bridge position but flexible enough to change the angle at will. When I started experimenting with making a bridge type tray I realized that I could also make the handpiece stands into little turntables that would allow me to easily adjust the angle of my hands to make typing more comfortable and adjust to standing or sitting position or any other position I might want to type in.
